Week 4 Tight End Rankings Outlooks
Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. drew six targets in Sunday's 30-0 blowout loss to the Panthers, converting them into four catches for 39 yards. The effort gave him three straight games with at least five targets and at least four catches to begin the season. The former first-round draft pick had no such streak of catches last season, so it seems there is a level of consistency this year that we did not see in 2024. The drawback is that he has yet to score a touchdown and has zero red zone targets through the season's first three weeks.
He's also averaging just 9.0 yards per catch in 2025 compared to 12.8 yards per catch last season. Even so, the 24-year-old ranks just outside the top 12 at the position and has another favorable matchup in Week 4 against the Commanders, so a big week could catapult him well within the top 12. The Falcons and Pitts will need a more accurate and efficient Michael Penix Jr., though, after he went 18-for-36 in Sunday's loss.
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid had five catches (six targets) for 66 yards, all team-highs, in the Thursday night win over the Miami Dolphins. He also found the end zone, courtesy of a 20-yard toss from Josh Allen in the second quarter. Kincaid had only two touchdowns in each of his first two seasons leading up to the 2025 campaign. However, after Thursday's performance, he's already hit that mark, and it only took him three games to do it.
After a disappointing 2024 season, the 25-year-old appears on track to remain one of Allen's go-to options on the receiving end, a role many thought he'd have last year. All things considered, Kincaid is currently one of the league's most productive tight ends through the first three weeks. While there are some who are still skeptical, fantasy managers in all formats should keep him starting in Week 4 versus the New Orleans Saints, a team that has struggled on the defensive side of the ball.
Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren dealt with a toe injury leading up to his team's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, but he ultimately played through the issue. Warren wound up catching three of his five targets for 38 yards to finish third on the team behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce in the blowout 41-20 win.
The rookie tight end has been impressive through his first three career games, hauling in 14 of his 21 targets for 193 scoreless yards. Warren is already worth trusting as a solid TE1 in fantasy as he looks for his first career touchdown in a Week 4 road game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that tight end Darren Waller (hip) will practice this week and is expected to make his debut with the team next Monday night in Week 4 against the division-rival New York Jets, according to The Palm Beach Post's Hal Habib. If Waller is officially active against the Jets for the first time this year, as expected, he will be on a snap count. "Yes, it's probably more situational. I wouldn't go to all these lengths, have this buildup, and throw him out there for 60 (snaps).
I kind of have an idea what it is," McDaniel said. The 33-year-old came out of retirement to join the Dolphins this year, so it's not really a surprise he'll be limited in his first real game action in over a year. Waller should give Miami's struggling offense a boost, but he should not be in any starting fantasy lineups in Week 4. For now, Waller is merely a bench stash for TE depth in deeper leagues.
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland's hip injury is not believed to be serious, and he's expected to have a chance to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN. Loveland had his best game of the year in the 31-14 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday before injuring his hip, catching one of his three targets for a 31-yard gain. In the first two games of his rookie campaign, the 21-year-old had only two grabs on three targets for 12 yards.
He has plenty of downfield playmaking ability, but so far, Chicago hasn't gotten him involved. Loveland will have a shot to play in Week 4 if he's able to practice, but he'll strictly be a TE2 with upside for fantasy managers if he's able to play. If Loveland cannot play against Vegas, Cole Kmet would be a TE streaming option. Kmet scored his first touchdown of the year on his only catch on Sunday.
