FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 4 - Daily Fantasy Football

Travis Kelce - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 4 of the 2021 season, and some value sleepers for your daily fantasy football rosters.

While Derrick Henry and Aaron Jones were the dominant fantasy forces in Week 2, the quarterbacks returned to prominence in Week 3. After getting off to a slow start, Josh Allen showed up to play against the Washington Football Team to finish as the top-scoring DFS option. Justin Herbert, Matthew Stafford, and Tom Brady occupied the next three spots, with Mike Williams cracking the top-five by a small margin to round things out. And now it's time for Week 4!

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 4 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel’s “Main Slate.” These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big!

Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. Also, be sure to check back on Saturday night and Sunday morning for updates heading into Week 4.

Article Updated: Saturday, October 2, 2021 @11 pm (eastern)

Now that we have a better idea of who is playing--and who won't be, it's time to take a hard look at some of the options that have become available for Sunday's slate.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 4 Picks

Patrick Mahomes, QB - @ PHI ($8,700)

Obviously, Mahomes will get plenty of attention heading into Week 4 against the Eagles. Vegas has him leading all throwers on the slate, and despite the Chiefs' struggles this season, he has amassed at least 24.9 fantasy points in every game so far.

Matthew Stafford, QB - vs. ARI ($7,800)

Since arriving in Los Angeles, Stafford has erupted and is finally getting the recognition he was lacking after playing his entire career with the underachieving Detroit Lions. He has thrown for at least 321 yards in two of his first three games as a Ram, and he also has been responsible for the breakout of Cooper Kupp. The veteran didn't make things easy on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 3 and should have a home in many DFS lineups in a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Kirk Cousins, QB - vs. CLE ($7,500)

Cousins continues to fly under the radar despite having one of the best seasons of his career. The 33-year-old currently has eight touchdown tosses, with six of them coming from inside the red zone. As usual, Cousins also remains one of the most accurate passers going, sporting a 73.9 completion percentage, and he has yet to throw a pick on the year. Of course, there are more attractive DFS options available at the position. However, although Cousins doesn't have the same upside, he is as consistent as it gets.

Also Consider: Josh Allen ($8,500), Kyler Murray ($8,200), Jalen Hurts ($7,900), Sam Darnold ($7,200), Justin Fields ($6,400 - GPP only)

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 4 Picks

Derrick Henry, RB - @ NYJ ($10,200)

Henry had a horrendous Week 1 performance against a smothering Cardinals defense, resulting in many managers hoping their first-round draft pick wouldn't turn into a bust. But then, in Week 2 against the Seahawks, the veteran came back to life and had 182 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while catching all six of his targets for 55 yards. Henry should be considered an anchor for DFS formats of all types, especially against a struggling Jets defense. The oddsmakers also have him finishing with the most rushing yards in Week 4, so he should certainly be on the radar.

Nick Chubb, RB - @ MIN ($8,000)

Despite being one of the most sought-after running backs during preseason fantasy drafts, Chubb's production thus far has been underwhelming. He combined for just 26 carries throughout the first two weeks of the season, and despite getting 22 against Chicago last Sunday, he still finished with just 84 yards on the ground. Still, he is too good to be dismissed, and he has a solid chance to rebound against the Vikings and have his first 100-yard game of the year, especially with this matchup projected to feature an abundance of scoring.

David Montgomery, RB - vs. DET ($7,500)

Andy Dalton is doubtful for the matchup against the Lions, so Justin Fields will get the nod to start. Yet, with his struggles in Week 3 during the first start of his career, the Bears may take the cautious approach with the rookie signal-caller, and to do that, it could mean more touches for Montgomery. This season, Detroit's defense hasn't held up against opposing rushers, which could enable him to be an under-the-radar option in GPP formats.

Saquon Barkley, RB - @ NO ($6,900)

After sustaining a season-ending knee injury, Barkley has slowly been working his way back. He managed to suit up in Week 1 against Denver, but he didn't get much work and had just 10 carries. Since then, his volume has continued to progress steadily. The former Nittany Lion logged 60 snaps against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, finishing with a season-high 16 carries. He also caught six of his seven targets for 43 yards and scored his first touchdown of the 2021 campaign. His stock continues to rise, and it's even higher with both Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton not playing.

Chuba Hubbard, RB - @ DAL ($6,300)

Christian McCaffrey is dealing with a hamstring issue, and because of it, he won't play on Sunday against the Cowboys. As a result, Hubbard will enter the equation and undoubtedly get a ton of interest. After CMC got hurt in Week 3, Hubbard took over at the helm, and he finished with 52 yards off 11 carries. It's likely he will get more than that against Dallas, but since so many will be looking in his direction, fading him may also be a reasonable option.

Also Consider: Alvin Kamara ($9,000), Ezekiel Elliott ($7,000), Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6,700), Zack Moss ($6,000), Trey Sermon ($5,900 - GPP only)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 4 Picks

Davante Adams, WR - vs. PIT ($8,100)

For some reason, Adams' rostering price is considerably lower than what it should be. Because of this, he will likely be in a ton of DFS lineups heading into Sunday's slate. However, while sometimes being a contrarian can pay off, this may not be one of those situations. He is certainly Aaron Rodgers' favorite target, and with Green Bay's second option, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, landing on injured reserve on Saturday, Adams may get more looks than expected.

Stefon Diggs, WR - vs. HOU ($8,000)

Diggs hasn't played up this standard level this season. Still, he continues to be the top target of Josh Allen and has 31 looks from the signal-caller on the year. Nonetheless, Diggs has an excellent opportunity to have his best game yet against a Texans team that isn't very good

DeAndre Hopkins, WR - @ LAR ($7,600)

Although Hopkins hasn't played the best this year, his rostering cost is laughable. He racked up three total scores in the first two weeks of the 2021 campaign before fizzling out during the Week 3 showdown against the Jaguars. To be fair, he was on the cusp of not playing at all because of his ribs. Still, bring him back into the mix, especially with Kyler Murray likely to air it out against the Los Angeles Rams.

DJ Moore, WR - @ DAL ($7,300)

After spending some uneventful seasons in New York as a Jet, Sam Darnold has enjoyed a career resurgence in Carolina. He's definitely benefited from the best receiving corps he's ever been around, with Moore leading the group. The 24-year-old has been a reliable option throughout his time in the league, and things haven't changed in 2021. He's been targeted 23 times over the last two games, catching 16 of them, and has compiled 205 yards and a touchdown in the process.

Also Consider: Cooper Kupp ($8,600), Tyreek Hill ($8,200), Justin Jefferson ($7,800), CeeDee Lamb ($7,400), DeVonta Smith ($5,900), Kenny Golladay ($5,900)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 4 Picks

Travis Kelce, TE - @ PHI ($8,200)

Kansas City has had its struggles this season, although Kelce can't take much of the blame. As usual, he continues to play well and be featured in the Chiefs' offensive attack. He has three touchdowns already, one off the leader, Rob Gronkowski, and is second behind only Darren Waller in targets at the position. With Kansas City looking to get back on track, Kelce may get plenty of opportunities to produce against Philadelphia on Sunday.

Also Consider: Dawson Knox ($5,600), Robert Tonyan ($5,500), Evan Engram ($5,100), Anthony Firkser ($4,500)
