It's Wednesday, which means there are 15 games on the slate, and every player is in play tonight. Both main sites are running some great contests whether you are looking for big tournaments or cash games, so take a look. Solid pitching on the slate, so you will need to find some value if you are looking to fit one of the top arms in your lineups. Sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/03/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and of course, value plays

Offensive Stacks

Pittsburgh Pirates vs Rookie Davis

Simply put, Rookie Davis isn't a good pitcher. Like, not at all, not in any way is he remotely close to pitching at a major league level this season. He has three starts this year, for a total of 9.2 IP. He is averaging 3 IP, per start. That means he is getting shelled early and often, which is shown by the 18 Hits he has given up in those 9 IP. Not sure how else to convey the fact that Davis is about to be sent down to the minors to figure he stuff out. Stack the Pirates in any way you see fit, one through eight are all viable.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Jake Arrieta - P, vs PHI ($10,100)

Arrieta hasn't had the best games of late, but he is in a solid spot to turn things around. He is at home versus the Phillies who have a 23% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitching. Arrieta has had five or more strikeouts in all five of his starts this year, with two games at eight or more. The upside is there for strikeouts, and he should be able to pick up at least six or seven tonight. The one area of concern for Arrieta is the number of hits he is allowing so far this season. He is giving up an average of one hit per inning, and has given up five or more hits in three straight starts. He may not be as dominant as he was a few years ago, but the match up is in his favor, and he should pick up the win. Also to be noted, that the wind is blowing in from center, but be sure to check on that before first pitch.

Adam Wainwright - P, vs MIL ($8,000)

Wainwright isn't the pitcher that he once was, and he had a tough start to the season, but he has put together two straight wins. He isn't a cash game option, because he doesn't have the consistency you need, but he has some good upside in GPPs. Wainwright has 17 SO over his last three starts, which is good, but not great. The upside for him comes from the fact he is up against the Brewers who have the highest strikeout rate versus right-handed pitching at 25.8%. That is very high, since they often are swinging for the fences, it is high risk, high reward for them. Wainwright is also at home, which is a solid pitchers park, so that should help. Just check on the weather for this game, since there is a bit of rain in the forecast.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Salvador Perez - C, vs CWS ($3,400)

Perez is a good cash option for tonight, since he has great splits versus right-handed pitching. This season he has a .393 wOBA, .333 ISO, and a .945 OPS. Really seeing the ball well vs RHP, and should be in a good spot to potentially take one deep. The Royals as a team are very bad this year, and they don't have much offense, but Perez seems to be the bright spot for them, and he can produce.

Ryan Zimmerman - 1B, vs ARI ($3,800)

Zimmerman is arguably the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He had an electric first month of the season, which has him at, .420 AVG, 11 HR, 29 RBI. Incredible stuff from him, and he has no signs of slowing down. He is up against a left-handed pitcher tonight, and this season he has a .762 wOBA, a .923 ISO and a 1.995 OPS. Yes, you read those numbers right, just bananas stuff from him, and he is viable in cash or in a stack if you can afford the Nationals players.

Yangervis Solarte - 2B, vs COL ($3,400)

Solarte is one of the bright spots in a mediocre Padres offense, and is off to a promising start. He is batting .283 so far, with 16 RBI. Tonight he is up against a right-handed pitcher, who this year he has a .342 wOBA and a .153 ISO. Not a ton of power from him, but he is making contact with the ball, as he has 28 Hits through 27 Games. Won't blow you away with power, just good solid contact.

Miguel Sano - 3B, vs OAK ($3,700)

Sano is crushing the ball in the first month of the season, hitting .316, with 7 HR and 25 RBI. Great stuff so far, and he is averaging over one hit and one RBI per game. Now that pace won't continue for the whole season, but its a good time to hop on and reap the benefits. He has a .479 wOBA and a .415 ISO versus right-handed pitching. Lock him in your lineups, playable in any format.

Corey Seager - SS, vs SFG ($3,600)

Seager is turning into one of the young stars in the league, and he has a good combination of average and power. He is batting .309, with 5 HR and 17 RBI, to start the year. He has also put up 12 or more FanDuel points in four of his last six games. Great numbers from Seager, and he has a super favorable match up tonight. He has a .446 wOBA and a .224 ISO vs right-handed pitching. He is up against Jeff Samardzija, who has given up five or more hits in four of his five starts this year.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Avisail Garcia - OF, @ KAN ($3,700)

Garcia had a super strong first month of the season and is sitting at .358 AVG, 5 HR, and 20 RBI. The White Sox are hot right now, and he is a big part of the lineup. He is up against a right-handed pitcher tonight, and this year he has a .411 wOBA, 172 wRC+, and a .238 ISO versus them. Great numbers so far, and he should be usable in cash or apart of a stack for tournaments.

Jay Bruce - OF, @ ATL ($3,600)

Bruce is quickly becoming the power hitter for the Mets, due to the insane amount of injuries they have this year. Tonight they are at the Braves, in their new stadium, which is quietly becoming more of a hitters park, compared to the old Turner Field, which was a great pitchers park. Bruce is up against a right-handed pitcher, and this year he has a .467 wOBA and a .348 ISO versus them. Great spot for him to knock one out tonight.

Corey Dickerson - OF, @ MIA ($3,200)

Dickerson is not someone you think of when it comes to a big power hitter in the majors, but he is getting it done to start the year. He is hitting .326, with 6 HR, and 10 RBI. The Rays are at Miami, which is a pitchers park, so some DFS players may shy away from hitters there. Leaves Dickerson potentially super low owned in tournaments, and could really give your roster a boost.
