DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Wednesday Slate (10/29/25)

Kejon Owens - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Draft

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Wednesday (10/29/25) slate in Week 10. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

The DraftKings Halloween week treat bag rolls on with another Weekday Conference USA DFS slate! We have seen some amazing games in the league this year. By now, most of us are familiar with the players on these teams for DFS purposes. It's getting a little harder to separate your lineups, so I'm glad you're here. If you play GPP tournaments, these are the slates where you can't be afraid to finish last. Find your spot, plant your flag, and let the full stacks pay off.

The start times aren't the same tonight, but we get an extra half-hour to tweak lineups. We start in Murfreesboro with the Blue Raiders hosting Jacksonville State. The nightcap is in Springfield, Missouri, with Missouri State hosting Florida International. College football is better off with Missouri State and Delaware in FBS. Both are CUSA contenders, and the fanbases are great!

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the DraftKings slate on 10/29/25, starting at 7:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower ends of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Alonza Barnett III, James Madison ($8.5K)

Fortunately, we don't have to anxiously wait in the minutes up until game time to find out if one of the best players is in. The "will play" can be a little misleading. I guess I've just been burned enough in college DFS to not take anything at face value.

However, the Gamecocks still have a shot at the CUSA title, and they aren't going to get there on the back of Gavin Wimsatt. Creel has 408 rushing yards in his four starts. We'll overlook the pedestrian passing stats since he scores as much as most running backs.

Jacob Clark, Missouri State ($7.2K)

Most thought that the quarterback job was going to freshman Deuce Bailey when Clark was "available" for the October 8 game against Middle Tennessee State. Bailey started, and Clark didn't play at all.

The Missouri State depth chart had Clark at the top, but the dreaded "or" designation with Bailey. Clark started and played the entire game last week against New Mexico State. Clark was a bit rusty, throwing a couple of interceptions, but he threw for 283 yards. Clark is the best pure passer on the slate, and it's not close.

Also consider these QBs:

  • Nicholas Vattiato, Middle Tennessee State ($7.6K)
  • Keyone Jenkins, Florida International ($6.7K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Kejon Owens, Florida International ($7.4K)

It's not often that these small slates deliver a loaded position, but RB on this slate is loaded. Cam Cook is the nation's leading rusher, but I like the matchup for Owens more. Missouri State has allowed 141.3 rushing yards per game. That's not bad. The 15 rushing touchdowns allowed are where we want to attack.

Owens has 42 carries for 346 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the last two games alone. FIU doesn't split carries, so Owens has a largely guaranteed workload.

Jekail Middlebrook, Middle Tennessee State ($6.4K)

I really like the idea of paying up for all three backs on this slate. I don't think it will be a popular build since you have to punt receiver, but we'll find our spots. We always do.

Middlebrook's value lies in his work in the passing game. He has at least two receptions in every game this year, and has at least three in all but one game. That's a lot of "free" points in PPR scoring, which DraftKings has.

Middlebrook has piled up yards on those receptions as well. They aren't just empty catches without yards. He has topped 30 receiving yards in three games. MTSU is going to get Middlebrook around 20 touches in this matchup. That's every bit the workload that Cook and Owens get.

Also consider these RBs

  • Cam Cook, Jacksonville State ($7.9K)
  • Shomari Lawrence, Missouri State ($5.5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Brock Rechsteiner, Jacksonville State ($5.4K)

There isn't a true alpha receiver on this slate, so I'm comfortable chasing catches instead of chasing touchdowns. Rechsteiner has the catches and the touchdowns. He has at least three receptions and a touchdown in each of the last four games.

Rechsteiner is the possession guy, so he's not going to get that long touchdown. We'll take the receptions, and he is a red zone target for the Gamecocks. I'm trusting the process that has worked for the last month for Jacksonville State.

Alex Perry, Florida International ($4.6K)

Perry doesn't provide much flash, but he does provide receptions. 19 of his 26 receptions on the season have come in the last four games. Perry isn't getting touchdowns, but the yards and receptions help make up for it.

Ronnel Johnson, Missouri State ($4.4K)

Johnson has become the receiver that both quarterbacks for the Bears look to. He was the leading receiver with Bailey in there, and he has led the team in receptions in both of Clark's last two starts.

I love the fact that we don't have to mess with the QB situation at all. Johnson is going to get his. He has 16 receptions for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the last three games.

Hunter Tipton, Middle Tennessee State ($3.7K)

Tipton gets a lot of targets as the TE in this offense. He has 15 receptions in the last three games alone. We aren't going to see any huge gains out of Tipton, but if he's getting five points on receptions alone, can we really complain? The price is right.

Also consider these WRs:

  • Nahzae Cox, Middle Tennessee State ($5.8K)
  • Cam'ron Lacy Middle Tennessee State ($5K)
  • Dash Luke, Missouri State ($4.1K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Missouri State vs. Florida International

We saw what Kennesaw did to FIU on Vice Night last week, right? I sure did! The Bears are more balanced than the average Group of 5 team, meaning this is a relatively easy five-man stack.

I expect most to run Clark with Ronnel Johnson as their Missouri State exposure since the RB room has been a little in flux lately. It really hasn't...that's just the perception. Shomari Lawrence is still the starter and gets more touches. Ramone Green Jr. is the home run hitter and better receiver.

Due to the offense, I would run both or neither one. With RB being the strongest position on the slate, running Missouri State backs is a contrarian play.

Tristian Gardner has more receptions over the last three games than Dash Luke does, but Luke was the favorite target of Clark early in the season. I would run Luke as the fifth piece if you want a five-man Missouri State stack.

Jacksonville State vs. Middle Tennessee State

A Jacksonville State stack is a bit expensive, but if you don't pay up for a third back, it's very affordable. Creel being the most expensive QB doesn't help, but it also highlights the best part of the Gamecocks' offense.

Creel, Cook, and Rechsteiner are going to comprise most of my exposure to this team. The Gamecocks don't pass as much with Freel in there, and Rechsteiner is the most targeted player. However, Caleb Coombs has thrived with Creel in there. Adding Coombs as the fourth could set your lineup apart.

Also consider this stack: Florida International
