DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Tuesday Slate (10/28/25)

Lincoln Pare - College Football Rankings, CFB DFS Picks, NFL Draft

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Tuesday (10/28/25) slate in Week 10. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

DraftKings is giving us all of the weekday Conference USA that we can handle this week, since we are on to MACtion next week. Hey, you're never going to hear me complain about more college football or more DFS! I feel like we have a pretty good read on some of these Conference USA teams. That's what weekday exposure can do for your football team.

Both games start at the same time, so it's a four-hour tilt fest! These are nothing but fun! We have James Madison invading San Marcos to take on the Bobcats, and UTEP heading to northern Georgia to take on Kennesaw State.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the DraftKings slate on 10/28/25, starting at 7 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower ends of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Alonza Barnett III, James Madison ($8.5K)

That's the reason why we are willing to pay a premium for a guy like Barnett. He can break the slate every time he takes the field. The inconsistency can be maddening, but Texas State has allowed 162.7 rushing yards per game.

On top of that, the Bobcats have allowed as many rushing touchdowns (13) as passing ones. Rushing ones are worth more! We're using Barnett for the rushing prowess, but he's going to be good for around 200 passing yards as well. Who else on the slate can claim that?

Dexter Williams II, Kennesaw State ($7.2K)

Those who rolled with Williams last week were bailed out when Williams balled out after Amari Odom was knocked out of the game with an undisclosed injury. We still have no clue what is wrong with Odom.

Williams took all of the first-team snaps in practices, but it is believed that Odom will start if he's available. This situation is annoying and tough to monitor. So, I'm avoiding the situation. If Odom is out, Williams might be the best play on the slate.

Also consider these QBs:

  • Brad Jackson, Texas State ($7.8K)
  • Skyler Locklear, UTEP ($7.1K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Lincoln Pare, Texas State ($7.6K)

This is a tough one since the Dukes have allowed just 74.3 rushing yards per game and have only allowed two rushing touchdowns in seven games.

The argument for Pare is that he has at least 13.7 DraftKings points in every game. This team played Arizona State and Troy, both of whom have good run defenses. Pare is active enough in the pass game, but there is risk involved here.

I would view Pare as a large-field GPP only play. The massive upside just isn't there. You're playing for low ownership on a talented player. That's not always a bad idea.

Chase Belcher, Kennesaw State ($4.7K)

Coleman Bennett only had four carries last week thanks to a dreaded undisclosed injury. Once again, we'll be anxiously watching the Kennesaw warmups since they won't release injury reports.

The good news is that if Bennett starts, use him. He gets the lion's share of the carries when healthy. If Bennett is out, Belcher and Alexander Diggs will likely split the carries. The two each had over 10 carries once Bennett left last week's game.

Not only that, but the yardage was almost identical. I would even entertain running both Belcher and Diggs if Bennett is ruled out.

Also consider these RBs

  • Wayne Knight, James Madison ($6.3K)
  • Ashten Emory, UTEP ($5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Beau Sparks, Texas State ($5.9K)

That play above shows what Sparks can do. He's a target hog in an offense that won't be able to run the ball and will likely be playing from behind. I'll be shocked if Sparks has fewer than a dozen targets.

Gabriel Benyard, Kennesaw State ($5.7K)

Benyard is one of the few Owls who is NOT on the injury report. Indiana is the only team to hold Benyard under 14 DraftKings points. He still got 7.1 in a game where the Owls were dominated.

Chris Dawn Jr., Texas State ($5.4K)

The Bobcats have made a habit of playing from behind. That has meant huge numbers from the receivers lately. Dawn has 12 receptions for 299 yards in the last two games. The touchdowns will come.

Nick DeGennaro, James Madison ($4.4K)

DeGennaro made a triumphant return with 28.6 DK points against Old Dominion two weeks ago. DeGennaro was a solid part of the offense early on. He is touchdown-dependent since the Dukes don't throw a lot, but he has at least two receptions in each game that he's played in.

Also consider these WRs:

  • Kenny Odom, UTEP ($5.5K)
  • Christian Moss, Kennesaw State ($4.7K)
  • Wondame Davis Jr., UTEP ($4.6K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

James Madison vs. Texas State

The Bobcats have the lowest-rated defense on the slate. They're the ones that we really want to go after. Barnett is going to be the most-used player on the slate. Which players you take around him can decide whether you get minimum cash or flirt with a takedown.

Knight and Landon Ellis will form most of the three-man James Madison stacks. I think we can use even more. Texas State has scored on solid defenses all season. If they keep this close, this is a dream game for DFS purposes.

Jordan Fuller isn't as explosive and isn't used at all in the passing game, but he still has at least 11 touches in four straight games. If the Dukes get out to a lead, we could see a lot of Fuller and Knight trying to keep the ball away from Texas State.

DeGennaro is the wild card here. The Dukes don't pass much at all, but DeGennaro is a home run waiting to happen.

If you don't want to get too crazy with JMU stacks, how you run back Texas State players can have a big impact on the outcome as well. If you think that the Dukes are going to handle Texas State, use Sparks and leave it at that.

If you think Texas State hangs around, running Sparks and Dawn is a good idea. So is Pare, who has a much better chance of success if this game stays close.

Kennesaw State vs. UTEP

I love a Kennesaw State stack. I hate trying to figure out who is healthy. Benyard is literally the only one that we can trust. If Odom starts, use him. If Williams starts, use him. If Bennett is out, use both other backs with Benyard and Moss.

Also consider this stack: Texas State (GPP only)
