Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (glute) is off the final injury report and has no game designation for Sunday's matchup with the Green Bay Packers. Irving was limited Wednesday and Thursday after the injury became an issue coming out of last week's game against Minnesota, but he was back on the field Friday and appeared to be moving without trouble during the portion open to reporters.
He has 40 carries for 180 yards and one touchdown through three games, along with 13 catches for 61 yards. RotoBaller has Irving at RB19 for Week 4. The glute injury was worth monitoring after two limited practices to begin the week, but the absence of a final designation means fantasy managers can plan on having Irving available Sunday.
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is coming off his best performance of the season in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Higgins racked up six catches for 90 yards and a touchdown in the 27-30 loss in Week 3. The Bengals WR2 can easily finish any week as a fantasy WR1 given the potency of this offense. Higgins will have the opportunity to go off again this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars defense has been strong to start the year, but the duo of Ja'Marr Chase and Higgins is arguably the best one-two punch at wide receiver in the league. Higgins could also be heavily involved because of the strength of the Jaguars offense. Through the first three weeks, the Jacksonville offense has actually scored more points than the Bengals, so Cincinnati could be chasing points in this game.
Higgins is ranked WR14 in our RotoBaller Week 4 PPR rankings, making him a borderline WR1/strong WR2 in this matchup. Fantasy managers should be excited about having a wideout in what should be a high-scoring game.
Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller is back in the waiver mix after Travis Etienne Jr. left Sunday's loss to Las Vegas with a hamstring injury. Miller had four carries for 14 yards and caught two passes for five yards, his first offensive work since Week 1 after sitting out Week 2 as a healthy inactive. There was not much production here, but the path to more work is easy to see if Etienne misses time.
Miller handled nine carries for 30 yards and a touchdown in the opener while Alvin Kamara was sidelined, and Kamara is now back to share the backfield. RotoBaller has Miller 24th overall in its Week 4 waiver rankings and recommends him in 12-team leagues. He is not an immediate starter, but managers looking for running back depth can stash him while waiting for more clarity on Etienne's hamstring.
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman remains a deeper-league waiver option after Zay Flowers returned to the lineup in Week 3. Bateman caught seven of nine targets for 88 yards and a touchdown with Flowers out against New Orleans, then dropped to two catches for 37 yards in Sunday's win over Dallas. Flowers came back and immediately led Baltimore with five receptions for 84 yards, while Lamar Jackson attempted only 20 passes.
Bateman still made one of the Ravens' bigger plays with a 31-yard catch, but his weekly target volume is harder to trust when Flowers is healthy. He has nine receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown through three games. Bateman sits 42nd overall on RotoBaller's current Week 4 waiver board, where the recommendation is for 14-team leagues. He is worth holding or adding in deeper formats, but he is more of a bench receiver than a priority claim in standard leagues.
Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys
Following a quiet start to the season in which he averaged less than three yards per carry across the first two games, Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams showed promising signs of a bounceback in Sunday's last-minute loss to the Ravens in Brazil. Adding two short catches to his 98 rushing yards, he topped the century mark for the first time on the year, scoring a rushing touchdown on his way to an RB9 fantasy finish.
Most reassuring, though, was the fight he showed through contact, an element that returned to his game in a breakout 2025 season. 62 of Williams' 98 rushing yards on Sunday came after contact, and with the Cowboys offensive line failing to create space in the running game through the first three weeks of the year, his physicality is the key to him remaining in the RB1 conversation. Williams is RotoBaller's RB19 ahead of a difficult Week 4 matchup with the Texans.
