Jimmy Crute won back-to-back fights by defeating Ivan Erslan via first-round submission in the co-main event of UFC Perth. After some brief striking exchanges, Crute took Erslan down to the mat and took his back. Crute quickly advanced his position to look for the rear-naked choke, but instead of sinking a rear-naked choke, Crute did a modified neck crank, forcing Erslan to tap out. In 3:19 of action, Crute landed two takedowns and 12 significant strikes. With the win, Crute improved to 14-4-2 as a pro and is now 6-4-2 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
