The New York Jets acquired cornerback Jarvis Brownlee from the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday in exchange for a 2026 late-round swap, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Brownlee started the first two games of the year for the Titans, but then injured his ankle in the Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams . The 24-year-old will give the Jets some depth in the defensive backfield, but he's probably unlikely to make his debut with the team on Monday night in Week 4 against the division-rival Miami Dolphins. The former fifth-round pick last year by Tennessee had 17 tackles (11 solo) and a pass breakup with the Titans this year before the trade. In New York, Brownlee figures to be a part-time defensive back behind Sauce Gardner and Brandon Stephens.--Keith HernandezRead More News
