Week 12 Outlooks For Fantasy Football

Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco 49ers - Fantasy Football Outlook

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. will line up across from the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday. In one of his most disappointing fantasy performances of the year, the dual-threat weapon was held to 4.1 half-PPR points in last week's home loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Looking ahead things don't look too promising.

The Packers have been the 12th-toughest matchup for opposing wide receivers, and the 49ers will be without quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) and potentially All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, who is questionable with an ankle injury. It's possible that Samuel Sr. could find rapport with backup QB Brandon Allen at Lambeau Field, but the slump-breaking performance that fantasy managers have been waiting for since Week 6 is less likely now.

At least tight end George Kittle (hamstring) is back, hopefully taking some defensive focus off Samuel Sr. between the hash marks. Given the uncertainty regarding San Francisco's offensive efficiency in Week 12, consider Samuel Sr. a mid-range WR2.

- Brad Beltz, RotoBaller

Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions - Fantasy Football Outlook

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams exploded in Week 11, catching four of six targets for 124 yards and a touchdown in a 52-6 blowout win over the Jaguars. Williams continues to prove himself as one of the NFL's premier deep threats, recording his third touchdown in five games.

Heading into Sunday night, Williams ranks as a Top-6 WR for the week, delivering yet another standout fantasy performance. The explosive wideout has now scored 16 or more PPR fantasy points in five of his eight games this season. Williams remains a WR2 with big-play upside heading into Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts.

- Ty Thompson, RotoBaller

Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard will face the No. 1 ranked rush defense in the NFL in Week 12 as the Kansas City Chiefs visit the Panthers. Before a Week 11 bye, Hubbard recorded a career-high 153 rushing yards against the New York Giants in Munich, Germany.

In half-PPR leagues, he's scored 20-plus in consecutive games. Hubbard versus the Kansas City defensive front is the most intriguing matchup of this game, and while it's a daunting task, he remains a good RB2 option this week. Panthers running back Miles Sanders (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 12. However, rookie running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) will make his NFL debut this week. Despite Brooks return, Hubbard should have plenty of volume on Sunday and is RB20 in the latest RotoBaller running back rankings.

- Travis Kincaid, RotoBaller
