Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings (Week 13) - Nick Mariano's Rest-of-Season Outlooks for Fernando Tatis Jr., Michael King, David Hamilton, Jake Irvin

Fernando Tatis Jr. - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Nick's updated top 300 fantasy baseball rankings for roto as of Week 13 (June 13, 2024). His rest-of-season rankings and projections for hitters and pitchers.

Hey, RotoBallers! The fantasy baseball season is flying by, and the MLB All-Star break is a few weeks away. Amazingly, we are halfway through June; with that being said, it's time for another rankings check-in. Below is another edition of Nick Mariano's updated 2024 fantasy baseball rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 mixed leagues) as of June 13, 2024.

These rankings are released in mid-June, as Nick provides his rest-of-season fantasy baseball rankings and player values for the rest of this MLB season from this point forward. We are following many interesting storylines closely, all baked into these updated rankings, and you can see them below. Let's see where players such as Fernando Tatis Jr., Royce Lewis, Garrett Crochet, Michael Harris II, Spencer Steer, MacKenzie Gore, Michael King, Josh Jung, Jake Irvin, David Hamilton, Kodai Senga, Bo Bichette, Corbin Carroll, and Luis Robert Jr. All of them are performing well recently, struggling, or returning from injury soon in 2024.

Some players are off to a terrific start in the first half so far, while some have struggled mightily. Which of these trends do we take seriously, and which do we put less stock into? Is it time to elevate our expectations on certain players and elevate touted prospects into a higher tier for fantasy baseball leagues? How much patience must we show for highly touted players who have struggled out of the gate, especially veterans with proven track records? Hopefully, the rankings below will give you some perspective on our thoughts on these topics and help you assess the strength of your rosters going forward.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Rest-Of-Season Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Week 13 Notes

We have recently seen top prospects such as Chicago White Sox right-hander Drew Thorpe. The 23-year-old made his MLB debut on Tuesday and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings against the Seattle Mariners. At the beginning of June, we saw top prospects such as Hurtson Waldrep, Tyler Locklear, Max Meyer, Adael Amador, Cade Povich, and Justyn-Henry Malloy get the call to the show. At the same time, fantasy managers patiently wait for the call-up of Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Jordan Lawlar, who was activated from the the 60-day injured list on Monday after missing over two months of action due to a torn ligament in his right thumb. Lawlar is hitting .400 (4-for-10) with a home run and three RBI over two games since being activated.

San Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr.'s hitting streak snapped at 17 games. The Padres superstar slashed .400/.447/.686 with five home runs, nine RBI, 13 runs, and two stolen bases during the 17-game hitting streak. Overall, Tatis is having a fantastic season, slashing .280/.356/.472 with 13 home runs, 35 RBI, 48 runs, and eight stolen bases through 72 games. Since the calendar page flipped to June, Cincinnati Reds infielder Spencer Steer is slashing .326/.340/.457 with a home run, six RBI, four runs, and a stolen base across 47 plate appearances. San Diego Padres has been lights out in June, posting a 1.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 21:5 K: BB over 17 innings in three starts for the month.

Injuries continue to pile up. Houston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker is on the injured list with a bruised right shin. The Seattle Mariners placed infielder Ty France on the injured list with a hairline fracture in his right heel. Randy Arozarena, Logan O'Hoppe, Jurickson Profar, Yainer Diaz, Joey Ortiz, Taylor Ward, Andres Munoz, and Bryan Woo are day-to-day with injuries.

Reinforcements are coming, as Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas is targeting a return on July 1. Cincinnati Reds prospect Noelvi Marte began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville and is close to completing an 80-game suspension. Boston Red Sox rookie outfielder Wilyer Abreu is close to returning from the injured list, while San Francisco Giants outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. aims to return next Thursday.

Some notable performances include Washington Nationals right-hander Jake Irvin, who owns a 1.48 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 31:6 K: BB through 30 1/3 innings over his last five starts. Boston Red Sox infielder/outfielder David Hamilton has been on fire in June, slashing .333/.351/.611 with two home runs, four RBI, six runs, and four stolen bases over 10 games. To keep up with the recurring theme of Padres performing well, Jackson Merrill is slashing .355/.375/.677 with two home runs, four RBI, five runs, and two stolen bases over his last games.

Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Week 13 Updates

These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid. It's not panic time yet, and we may not be ready to elevate hot-starting players into the elite yet, either, but it's certainly a good checkpoint for the long fantasy season.

As always, be sure to stay on top of all the MLB news with our running list of 24x7 fantasy baseball news and injuries. And if you don't yet have our free mobile app, be sure to download it and stay on top of all the MLB news and analysis with our free push notification alerts.

Nick Mariano's ranks are as of June 6, 2024. They are for 5x5 category mixed roto leagues and will be updated regularly on our main fantasy baseball rankings dashboard all season long. Be sure to read our daily fantasy baseball analysis articles as well.
