Corey Perry Out 6-8 Weeks Following Surgery
Los Angeles Kings right wing Corey Perry (knee) has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks following surgery. The veteran forward, who turned 40 during the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, injured his knee during a pre-training camp skate on Friday. Los Angeles begins its season on Oct. 7 against the Colorado Avalanche. Perry looks set to miss at least the first three weeks of the new campaign. Perry's knee injury is unfortunate for the Kings, but his absence is unlikely to impact fantasy hockey. Last season, Perry posted 30 points (19 goals, 11 assists) in 81 regular-season outings with the Edmonton Oilers.
