Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Nick Mariano's Rest-of-Season Outlooks: Aaron Judge, Max Fried, Paul Skenes, Royce Lewis, Davis Schneider, more

Aaron Judge - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Nick's updated top 300 fantasy baseball rankings for roto as of Week 12 (June 6, 2024). His rest-of-season rankings and projections for hitters and pitchers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We are back with updated rest-of-season rankings to help you win your leagues. It's June already, and we are a month away from the halfway point of the 2024 season, with the All-Star break around the corner. With that being said, it's time for another rankings check-in. Below is another edition of Nick Mariano's updated 2024 fantasy baseball rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 mixed leagues) as of June 6, 2024.

These rankings are released in June, as Nick provides his rest-of-season fantasy baseball rankings and player values for the rest of this MLB season from this point forward. We are following many interesting storylines closely, all baked into these updated rankings, and you can see them below. Let's see where players such as Aaron Judge, Max Fried, Paul Skenes, Davis Schneider, Triston Casas, Mike Trout, Tarik Skubal, Royce Lewis, Luis Robert, Heliot Ramos, Gerrit Cole, and Nolan Gorman rank. All of them are off to interesting starts or returning from injury soon in 2024.

Some players are off to a terrific start in the first half so far, while some have struggled mightily to start the season. Which of these starts do we take seriously, and which do we put less stock into? Is it time to elevate our expectations on certain players and elevate touted prospects into a higher tier for fantasy baseball leagues? How much patience must we show for highly touted players who have struggled out of the gate, especially veterans with proven track records? Hopefully, the rankings below will give you some perspective on our thoughts on these topics and help you assess the strength of your rosters going forward.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Rest-Of-Season Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Week 12 Notes

We have recently seen top prospects such as Baltimore Orioles' top pitching prospect Cade Povich, who was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday and will make his MLB debut on Thursday. Povich owned a 3.18 ERA and 1.12 WHIP alongside a 75:21 K: BB through 56 2/3 innings with Triple-A Norfolk. At the same time, fantasy managers patiently wait for the call-up of New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez, who is rehabbing at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre as he continues to make his way back from Tommy John surgery he underwent in September.

What more can we say about Aaron Judge? The Yankees slugger is having a terrific season, slashing .293/.423/.667 with 21 home runs, 54 RBI, 45 runs, and four stolen bases over 279 plate appearances in 2024. Atlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried has been lights out lately. The 30-year-old has posted a 1.13 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, and a 28:2 K: BB ratio across 24 innings over his last three starts. The Twins activated Royce Lewis from the injured list on Tuesday, and he's homered in back-to-back games since returning after missing most of the season with a quad injury.

Injuries continue to pile up. Houston Astros pitchers Cristian Javier and Jose Urquidy will miss the rest of the season, as both will need Tommy John surgery. The San Francisco Giants placed left-hander Blake Snell on the injured list with a mild groin strain. Kyle Tucker, Corey Seager, Christopher Morel, Kenta Maeda, Jarred Kelenic, Starling Marte, and Manny Machado are day-to-day with their injuries.

Reinforcements are coming, as New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole was fantastic in his first rehab start on Tuesday with Double-A Somerset. Cole allowed two hits, walking none, and striking out five across 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Boston Red Sox slugger Triston Casas was cleared to swing a bat and aims for a return on July 1.

Some notable performances include Toronto Blue Jays infielder/outfielder Davis Schneider, who is slashing .263/.326/.500 with two home runs, eight RBI, and five runs scored across his last nine games. Pittsburgh Pirates rookie phenom Paul Skenes continues to pitch well since being called up on May 11. The 22-year-old owns a (3-0) record with a 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts over 27 innings.

Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Week 12 Updates

These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid. It's not panic time yet, and we may not be ready to elevate hot-starting players into the elite yet, either, but it's certainly a good checkpoint for the long fantasy season.

As always, be sure to stay on top of all the MLB news with our running list of 24x7 fantasy baseball news and injuries. And if you don't yet have our free mobile app, be sure to download it and stay on top of all the MLB news and analysis with our free push notification alerts.

Nick Mariano's ranks are as of June 6, 2024. They are for 5x5 category mixed roto leagues and will be updated regularly on our main fantasy baseball rankings dashboard all season long. Be sure to read our daily fantasy baseball analysis articles as well.
