Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday, according to Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com. It is not the start to the week that fantasy managers were hoping for after Rice missed the Week 6 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, but Reid did say that Rice is making progress.
Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on Rice's practice status through Friday as the team prepares for a Sunday night showdown against the Seattle Seahawks on the road. The 26-year-old has not played since suffering a hamstring injury in the first quarter of the Week 4 win against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders (the Chiefs had a bye in Week 5).
Fellow wideout Xavier Worthy benefited from Rice's absence against the Chargers, catching all seven of his targets for a season-high 73 yards in the 22-6 win. Worthy and veteran tight end Travis Kelce would both have higher ceilings again this weekend in Seattle if Rice misses a second consecutive game.
Ryan Flournoy, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has seen his fantasy production increase in each of the last three weeks, putting him on the fantasy football radar as a potential WR3/flex streamer going forward. The Cowboys haven't played great this season, but their passing game has been a bright spot with its ability to support three fantasy-relevant receivers.
Flournoy has been able to rack up 36.7 PPR points over his last three games despite consistently operating behind both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. With that in mind, the 26-year-old is a safe bet to finish as a top-48 fantasy receiver every week, and his upside is even higher if Lamb or Pickens miss time or if the Cowboys have a favorable matchup.
Managers in all 12+ team leagues should look to add Flournoy off waivers, especially as bye weeks and injuries continue to mount at the wide receiver position across the NFL.
Christian Kirk, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Christian Kirk (calf) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, according to Josh Dubow of The Associated Press. Kirk was close to coming off Injured Reserve to play in the Monday night win over the visiting Washington Commanders, but the Niners held him out for one more game.
Now that Kirk is practicing in full, barring a setback on Thursday or Friday, he figures to come off the IR on Saturday and make his season debut on Sunday on the road against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. It is good timing, with both Mike Evans (Achilles, ribs) and Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) potentially being held out through the team's Week 8 bye.
Due to all the injuries at the WR position in San Francisco, Kirk could have a substantial role right out of the gate this Sunday if he is active against the Falcons as the 49ers look to start the year 7-0. Relying on the 29-year-old in a starting fantasy lineup spot is still risky, though, after his long layoff.
The former second-rounder has had trouble staying on the field in recent seasons, playing in just 21 games the last two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans while finding the end zone just two times.
Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams responded, "probably because I'm not out there," when asked about his team's lack of drive-to-drive consistency on offense following its Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, per Adam Grosbard of the Los Angeles Daily News. Williams recorded 10 carries for 50 yards and hauled in three catches for 17 yards on six targets against Arizona.
Williams has been the Rams' clear RB1 through the early portion of the season, but Rams RB2 Blake Corum logged just two fewer touches than him in Week 6. Williams may have a point if he's agitating for a larger workload, as he's been very productive so far this season. Across six games in 2026, the 26-year-old has recorded 610 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns on 110 touches.
It's unclear how Williams' statements will impact his usage going forward, but the 2-4 Rams are struggling far more than they were expected to before the start of the year.
