Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Braelon Allen, New York Jets
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen set career highs in rushing attempts (24) and rushing yards (116) in a 17-12 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Allen saw four targets in the passing game, but recorded just one reception for zero yards.
With starter Breece Hall (quadriceps) out, Allen drew his second consecutive start and played 60 offensive snaps against the Browns. As long as Hall remains out of the lineup, Allen is a must-start player in most fantasy football formats. Even when Hall returns, Allen will remain a premium handcuff option.
Romeo Doubs, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught just one of his three targets for 16 yards during Sunday's Week 5 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Doubs spent the previous three weeks ascending into the de facto No. 1 receiver role with A.J. Brown (ankle) sidelined. Over his last two games, he had nine catches, 107 yards, and a pair of touchdowns.
However, he relinquished all of his momentum in Week 5, serving as a major letdown to his fantasy managers. Even in a wide receiver room featuring just four players, Doubs finished last in terms of targets, catches, and yardage. Brown is eligible to be activated from injured reserve before next week's game against the New York Jets, which would completely eliminate Doubs' WR3/flex appeal in leagues with 10 or fewer teams.
If Brown remains sidelined, Doubs will be a WR3/flex with a very low floor.
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (back) ended Sunday as a fantasy disappointment, rushing just three times for 12 yards and losing six yards on two catches. The veteran came into the game with a questionable tag and still played, but he drew fewer carries than both Kendre Miller (10) and CJ Donaldson (four).
The day was a consistent struggle for the New Orleans offense against Minnesota's top-tier defense, though Miller drew the key goal-line carries that led to the Saints' only offensive touchdown of the day. Kamara's receiving ability still gives him value in PPR formats, though the Saints' 96 passing yards made for an underwhelming day for everyone involved. New Orleans will face a better matchup next week against the New York Giants.
Kendrick Bourne, Arizona Cardinals
Across five games so far in 2026, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has recorded 17 catches for 178 yards on 22 targets. While the veteran wideout's numbers don't leap off the page, he could be in line for a significantly larger role in his team's offense following Arizona's trade of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans on Sunday.
In the Cardinals' first game without Harrison Jr. on Sunday, Bourne recorded five catches for 70 yards on eight targets. Arizona still has a pair of high-volume target earners in wide receiver Michael Wilson and tight end Trey McBride, which limits Bourne's upside. Still, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is currently averaging just under 40 pass attempts per game.
In deeper fantasy league formats, Bourne could be worth targeting on the waiver wire as a high-floor flex option.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was seemingly unstoppable during Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears. The veteran wideout got the fun started early with a 42-yard touchdown grab on the opening drive. He found the end zone again on a 53-yard grab during the first drive of the second half. Watson hauled in six of his eight targets for 143 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over Chicago.
He tied Matthew Golden for the team-high in receptions and held the team-high with his 143 receiving yards, which was five yards shy of his career-high. Watson has been a big-time playmaker for the Packers this season, and he'll get a juicy matchup against the Dallas Cowboys next week.
