Rashod Bateman fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Bateman on MNF for fantasy football.
BALLER MOVE: Stash Bateman in deeper formats, but sit him for the team's Week 7 MNF matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Rashod Bateman is a former first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has talent, but a bad run of injury luck has slowed his career. However, Bateman is having his best year in 2024 and has flashed some of the talent that had fans excited about him across the football landscape.
Lamar Jackson is 17/26 for 273 yards 2 TD 1 INT targeting Rashod Bateman this year.
10.5 yards per attempt.

Unfortunately for Bateman, he has been regulated to playing as the Ravens outside X-receiver whose job is to run a lot of deep routes to clear out defenders and create space for his teammates.
Baltimore isn't passing enough in 2024 for Bateman to have serious value in fantasy football outside of being an inexpensive dart-throw in DFS formats, but he would have value if anything were to happen to fellow wideout Zay Flowers.
Baltimore is running the ball plenty with Derrick Henry while playing good defense, and there isn't a large enough passing pie to go around right now for Bateman to be viable for fantasy.
