PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Tanner Bibee more than 5.5 strikeouts
Bibee was called up two weeks ago and has looked great as he has struck out 13 batters across his first 11 innings pitched while allowing just three earned runs. He has a solid matchup tonight against the Tigers as well. Over the previous two weeks, Detroit has posted the fifth-highest K rate against righties with a rate of 25.3%. They are also walking at just a 6.9% clip and posting a mediocre 89 wRC+ over that same span.
Nestor Cortes more than 6.5 strikeouts
Cortes has been steady in terms of strikeouts if anything this season. He has struck out seven batters in three of his previous four starts and has 35 strikeouts over his first 33 innings pitched. He will match up against Oakland tonight, who have posted a K rate of 22.1% against left-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks them in the bottom half of the league over that span.
Shane McClanahan less than 6.5 strikeouts
This is going to be an unpopular opinion and may actually be a better play on the books given that it is plus odds, but the matchup for Shane is going to be a tough one tonight. He will be up against the Orioles, who are posting the fourth-lowest K rate vs. lefties over the previous two weeks with a rate of just 16.1%. They are also posting an absurd 144 wRC+ over that same span, so we could see McLanahan get into some trouble. Add in the fact that this game is on the road where his K/9 is nearly two strikeouts less than at home since 2021 and you have a recipe for the under here.
DJ LeMahieu more than 7.0 hitter fantasy score
LeMahieu has looked good recently as he has eclipsed this total in each of his previous three games. He will be up against left-hander JP Sears and the A's bullpen tonight, which is good news. Sears has allowed 15 home runs and 10 doubles to right-handed hitters since 2021 across just 336 batters faced. The Oakland pen is also posting the fourth-worst ERA in the league over the previous 10 games. LeMahieu has also posted a .353 OBP vs. lefties since 2021.
