Zach Neto Has Whiplash, Expected to be Okay
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto (head) has whiplash and is okay, according to club reporter Erica Weston. Neto was originally removed from Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays following a collision at home plate with pitcher Ian Seymour. At the time of his departure, Neto was 0-for-3 with a run, a stolen base, and a walk. All things considered, it sounds like Neto avoided a serious injury. Although it's too early to tell whether he'll be available to play on Sunday, he should avoid a stint on the injured list.
