2 years agoThe New York Yankees are expected to meet with free-agent outfielder Brandon Nimmo at the Winter Meetings this week in San Diego. The Yankees are looking for two outfielders, so they could sign both Nimmo and Aaron Judge, although that would also bloat their budget considerably. If the Yankees sign both Nimmo and Judge, they'd have arguably the best defensive outfielder in baseball along with Harrison Bader. New York has also discussed Andrew Benintendi and Japanese star Masataka Yoshida. The San Francisco Giants, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets are also in the running to sign the on-base machine this offseason. Nimmo would be particularly attractive in fantasy atop the Yankees powerful offense, especially if they re-sign Judge, too.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
