Xander Bogaerts Batting .343 Over Last Nine Games
7 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts continued his great run at the plate on Wednesday. Bogaerts went 3-for-4 in a 7-1 win over the Detroit Tigers and drove in two runs on a double off of the Green Monster. Bogaerts has been raking over his past nine games with a .343 average, three home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored during that span. The 25-year-old already has nine home runs on the season after tallying just 10 last year. Bogaerts had a down 2017 in almost all aspects, but the fantasy managers that believed in him are reaping the rewards this season. He is a reliable source of counting stats and average, as he is locked in near the top of a deep Red Sox lineup.
