Junior Caminero Goes Yard Again in Sacramento
Junior Caminero crushed his 34th homer of the season on Wednesday night to help power the Rays to an 8-2 win that also gave them the series victory over the Athletics at Sutter Health Park. Caminero's two-run blast in the ninth came off reliever Elvis Alvarado and gives Caminero six homers in his last seven games with a .414 batting average and .621 wOBA in that short span. Since the All-Star break, the 22-year-old rookie is hitting .296 with a .409 wOBA and 11 homers in 25 games. He's quickly established himself as one of the best young sluggers in baseball, and Caminero looks lined up to be a top fantasy producer for years to come.
