Mathieu Olivier Exits Early With Upper-Body Injury
Columbus Blue Jackets right wing Mathieu Olivier (upper body) didn't finish Sunday's loss to the Boston Bruins, Brian Hedger of the Columbus Dispatch reports. Olivier had only one shift in the second period and finished with 3:06 of ice time. While Olivier averages barely 14 minutes of ice time, losing him would still be a bad blow for Columbus. The 29-year-old ranks 14th in the league with 209 hits and has chipped in with 15 goals and 11 assists in 61 games. Kent Johnson has recently struggled to stay in the lineup, but he might play regularly going forward if Olivier is dealing with a significant injury.
