Tyler Glasnow Looks Good In Sunday's Rehab Start
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (oblique) looks ready to rejoin Tampa's starting rotation after his fourth minor-league rehab start on Sunday with Triple-A Durham. In six innings pitched, he allowed just one run on two hits (one homer) while walking two and striking out six batters. It was Glasnow's second straight solid rehab start, and he figures to return from the 15-day injured list later this week in order to make his 2023 debut. The 29-year-old hard-throwing right-hander has yet to pitch in the big leagues this year due to a left-oblique strain, but his return is right around the corner. Glasnow could make his first start of the year against the Los Angeles Dodgers at home this weekend.
