Tre Flowers Makes Back-To-Back Big Plays
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks cornerback Tre Flowers made a couple of huge plays to help keep the Seahawks in it early. First, he sacked quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo when he went completely unblocked on a cornerback blitz. Then, with the ball in George Kittle's hands and San Francisco bearing down on the first-down marker, he was able to make the tackle and hold SF to a field goal. When every game between the two rivals comes down to inches, plays like that by the Seahawks Defense can make all the difference. Unfortunately, they came up short this week, but they'll face a struggling Philadelphia Eagles team next week. Hopefully, they can redeem themselves.
