Arch Manning Listed as Questionable for Vanderbilt Matchup
Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning (head) is listed as questionable for this week's conference matchup versus No. 9 Vanderbilt. The sophomore suffered back-to-back blows to the head during the Longhorns' come-from-behind win against Mississippi State. While Manning still practiced on Wednesday, it is unknown whether he will start since he is still in concussion protocol. Head coach Steve Sarkisian said that he is confident in backup QB Matthew Caldwell as Vanderbilt makes their way down to Austin. Manning hasn't quite lived up to the hype this season, tossing for 1,795 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions in eight games. Still, his absence could negatively impact Texas against a dangerous Commodores squad.
