Arion Carter Listed as Questionable Ahead of Oklahoma Matchup
Tennessee linebacker Arion Carter (toe) could miss his second straight game after suffering a turf toe injury to both feet. He is officially listed as questionable. Carter has been a force for the Vol defense, leading the team with 61 tackles. The junior was predicted to have success this season and play a big role on defense after being named to the 2025 Preseason All-SEC Third Team, as well as earning SEC Defensive Player of the Week after a win against Mississippi State on September 27. If Carter is unable to play, it would leave the Vols more vulnerable than they already are, with additional injuries at multiple positions ahead of their matchup against No. 18 Oklahoma.
