Scott Quessenberry Going For MRI On His Knee
1 year agoHouston Texans center Scott Quessenberry (knee) is undergoing an MRI exam on his left knee with the initial diagnosis being an MCL injury, according to a league source. It's not good after Quessenberry was carted off the training camp field during Thursday's practice. We'll have a better timetable for how much time he might miss after the team gets the MRI results back either later Thursday or Friday morning. The 28-year-old entered the summer in competition with rookie Juice Scruggs for the starting job at center in 2023. The injury could surely push the rookie Scruggs into the starting role, which would give Houston a rookie center and rookie quarterback this year whenever C.J. Stroud makes his NFL debut.
