2 years agoNew York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that it's possible running back Saquon Barkley's (neck) status is in doubt for Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Daboll hopes Barkley will play, but his neck is sore and he was limited in practice on Thursday. Mid-week additions to the injury report are usually never good, so fantasy managers really need to have a backup plan in place in case the 25-year-old star RB is limited or out this weekend. Barkley has been the RB6 in half-point PPR scoring in 2022, so losing him for the week would be a big blow for fantasy squads relying on him to get them into the fantasy playoffs. If Barkley is unable to play, Matt Breida and Gary Brightwell figure to split the backfield work against the Eagles.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
