Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Santiago Suarez enjoyed a strong rebound outing in his second start of the campaign on Sunday afternoon. After allowing three hits, two walks, and three runs during his first start of the High-A campaign, Suarez flipped the script in his second start. In this outing, Suarez kept High-A Rome off the scoresheet across four 1/3 innings of work. He allowed just one hit with no walks and struck out five batters. Last summer, Suarez spent the entire campaign with Low-A Charleston and posted a modest 4.11 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP. During this stint, he tallied 115 punchouts and showed strong control, allowing just 21 free passes. Fantasy managers should expect the 20-year-old to spend most of the campaign with High-A Bowling Green.--Andy Smith
