Saints Place Kendre Miller On Non-Football Injury List
1 year agoThe New Orleans Saints placed rookie running back Kendre Miller (knee) on the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday. They also added wide receivers A.T. Perry and Shaquan Davis to the list. Miller is behind the eight ball heading into his first NFL season after he required surgery to fix an MCL injury that he suffered in the semifinal playoff game while playing for TCU. The 21-year-old is eventually expected to take over New Orleans' backfield from Alvin Kamara after being a third-round pick this year, but he could take some time to develop given his injury. The Saints also added Jamaal Williams to their backfield this offseason, so fantasy managers in redraft leagues shouldn't expect too much from Miller in 2023, at least in the first half of the season.
