Saints, Foster Moreau Agree On Three-Year Deal
2 years agoThe New Orleans Saints and free-agent tight end Foster Moreau agreed to terms on a three-year, $12 million deal on Wednesday, according to his agent. The deal includes $8 million guaranteed and $3 million in incentives. Moreau has a positive diagnosis on his Hodgkin's lymphoma recovery and plans to play in 2023 for the Saints. The 26-year-old will be reunited with quarterback Derek Carr in the Big Easy this year and joins a tight end room that also includes Juwan Johnson and Swiss Army Knife Taysom Hill. Moreau could have a big role with his new team, but fantasy managers can't consider him a surefire TE1 given the presence of both Johnson and Hill. We should have a better idea of how the Saints will deploy him once training camp kicks off at the end of July.
