Parris Campbell Could Move To Outside Receiver
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell, who was in the slot for 77 percent of his offensive snaps with the Indianapolis Colts last season, is the most likely to play outside receiver more in 2023 in his first year with the Giants. Wan'Dale Robinson is a slot-only player, while Sterling Shepard can play inside and outside. Jamison Crowder has mostly been a slot receiver, but he's viewed mostly as an insurance policy for Robinson and Shepard. The Giants are fully expected to target another receiver in this week's draft, possibly at No. 25 overall in the first round, so there won't be room for all of their current wideouts on the final roster to open the regular season. Receivers will move around in New York's offense this year.
