New York Mets pitcher Nick Tropeano was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse after serving as the 27th man for Monday's game against the Braves. He didn't appear in either contest of Monday's doubleheader and was sent back down to clear roster space. The 30-year-old owns a 2.25 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and two strikeouts over eight innings in 2021.
