4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos will not opt out of the remainder of his four-year, $64 million deal, meaning that he will return to the Reds in 2021. Castellanos slashed .340/.411/.840 with seven home runs over his first 14 games for Cincy in 2020, but he finished the shortened season by hitting just .225 with a 102 OPS+ and 14 long balls. He also ranked among the worst outfielders in Statcast's Outs Above Average defensive metric. The right-handed slugger has a second opt-out clause after the 2021 season, something he could choose to use if he has a better season. In a hitter-friendly park, the 28-year-old could be a nice value pick in fantasy drafts next year after his rough finish in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
