Sal Stewart Homers Again, Hit Streak Now at Seven Games
Sal Stewart extended his hit streak to seven games on Wednesday in epic fashion, going 4-for-6 at Triple-A Louisville, including a pair of doubles, a home run, five RBI, and two runs scored. The Reds' top-ranked prospect has homered in back-to-back games and is now 30-for-89 (.337) with 12 doubles and six home runs at Triple-A, boasting a 12.0 percent strikeout rate and an above-average walk rate of 10.0 percent. The 21-year-old does not appear to be overmatched whatsoever and is making a strong case for a September call-up. With 16 steals on the year, he also possesses an element of speed and has the well-rounded makings of an appealing fantasy asset.
