3 months agoMiami Marlins first baseman Neil Walker (quadriceps) took ground balls on Friday and is progressing in his rehab. Third baseman Jon Berti (oblique) also took ground balls, while catcher Chad Wallach (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol. The 33-year-old Walker doesn't have a timetable to return but should see regular at-bats once he's ready after he hit .295/.375/.443 with four homers and 14 RBI before his injury. Walker had been hitting at a nice clip but doesn't have much upside in the counting stats and should be left to NL-only leagues when he returns. Berti and Wallach are merely depth players that can be ignored in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
