Michael Brantley Drives In Three
4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley went 3-for-5 with three runs driven in as the Astros overpowered the Rangers 8-4 on Thursday. Brantley kicked off the Astros offensive day singling home a run in the first inning and added a two-run double in the eighth inning. After a dip in production at the plate the veteran has been excellent this week, going 9-for-18 over his last five games with two doubles, two home runs, five runs scored and nine runs driven in. For the season Brantley now is slashing .318.389/.553 with 14 extra-base hits, 18 runs batted in through 85 at-bats and will be an above average DFS play heading into the weekend.
