Former Mets general manager and current MLB Network Radio analyst Steve Phillips predicts that the New York Yankees will also get involved. Gary Sanchez is under control for two more years in the Bronx, but he hit just .147/.253/.365 with 64 strikeouts in 178 plate appearances in 2020 and lost playing time to Kyle Higashioka in the playoffs.
