The Baltimore Ravens agreed on a five-year, $70 million deal with free-agent safety Marcus Williams on Tuesday, according to a source. Williams had a career-high 74 tackles (52 solo), two interceptions, eight passes defensed and a forced fumble in 16 regular season games for the New Orleans Saints in 2021 while playing on the franchise tag. He'll be replacing DeShon Elliott as Baltimore's starting free safety in 2022 and beyond. The 25-year-old was a second-round pick of the Saints back in 2017 out of Utah, and he's started at least 14 games in each of his first five NFL seasons. Williams has quietly been one of the more productive safeties in the NFL and will be a huge boost to a Ravens secondary that was decimated by injuries last year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
