Marcus Peters Could Be On The Move This Offseason
2 years agoESPN's Field Yates doesn't expect the Baltimore Ravens to re-sign veteran cornerback Marcus Peters this offseason. The presumed franchise tag for quarterback Lamar Jackson will take up a huge chunk of the team's salary cap space in 2023, and Peters could be looking for one final big contract at age 30. Peters remained productive in 2022, but injuries have limited him to 13 regular season games over the last two years. When healthy, he's been one of the team's top cornerbacks, but the Ravens will probably be looking to move on given their salary cap restrictions this year. Peters is a four-time All-Pro and finished with 47 tackles (35 solo), one interception, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a sack last season.
