Logan Ryan Placed On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe New York Giants officially placed safety Logan Ryan on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday after he tested positive for the virus. As a result, he's expected to miss the Week 11 game on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan is asymptomatic and vaccinated, but he'll need to return two negative tests by Monday in order to play, which is highly unlikely. With the 30-year-old unlikely to be active on Monday, Julian Love will likely be forced into starting duties in a tough challenge against Tom Brady and a Buccaneers offense that could be getting tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) back. The Giants defense/special teams ranks 14th in fantasy points coming into this week, but they aren't a recommended play on Monday against Tampa.
