Kevin Pillar With Two Hit Performance On Saturday
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar went 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in the Mets 4-0 win over the San Diego Padres on Saturday. Pillar continues to look solid since returning from a stint on the injured list after being hit in the face by a fastball thrown by Braves starting pitcher Jacob Webb in mid-May. He will continue to get most of the playing time in centerfield until Brandon Nimmo (finger) returns from the injured list. On the season, Pillar has posted a .640 OPS with two home runs, nine RBI, and two steals over 101 at-bats. He is a decent add for fantasy managers in deep mixed leagues or NL-only formats while he continues to get regular playing time in the Mets lineup.
