Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) was activated from the 7-day injured list in Triple-A on Thursday, reports Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic. He has been out of game action since June with a hamstring strain, but he is finally healthy. A lot has happened for the major league club while the 23-year-old has been sidelined, as the departure of Josh Naylor and Eugenio Suarez at the trade deadline created plenty of open playing time opportunities. The rookie played only 14 games in 2023 and eight games in 2025, so it's likely that Arizona will jump at the chance to finally lock him in for consistent at-bats to close out the season. He'll need some time to get back up to speed in the minors, but expect a promotion at some point in the coming weeks.--Jeremy Heist
