12 months agoNo one thought much of the news that Justin Miller was back in The Show when he was called up by the Nationals in late May. However, he's turned himself into a whole new pitcher, and the results are shining through. In seven different relief appearances, Miller hasn't give up a single earned run. Or even a single walk. He's struck out 17 batters in just 9 innings pitched, for some stupid impressive numbers: 0.00 ERA, 0.11 WHIP, and a 17.0 K/9 rate. He's only give up a single hit! It's a small sample size, sure, but if he continues to be this stingy, he may find himself working higher leverage situations sooner rather than later.--Devon Taylor - RotoBaller
