Justin Herbert Resumes Throwing After Surgery
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (shoulder) was throwing a football during the team's voluntary offseason workouts on Monday after coming off left-shoulder surgery this offseason. Herbert had surgery to fix a torn labrum in his left, non-throwing shoulder but hadn't resumed throwing a ball until Monday. The Chargers will take things slowly with the 25-year-old, but he should be fully ready to go by training camp at the end of July, especially since the surgery wasn't on his throwing shoulder. Herbert finished as the QB8 in fantasy in 2022 with 4,739 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and he was given a new toy in first-round receiver Quentin Johnston this year. Consider him a midrange QB1 heading into his fourth NFL season.
