Justin Crawford Excels in Saturday Doubleheader
Justin Crawford helped Triple-A Lehigh Valley sweep Buffalo with a pair of productive games in Saturday's doubleheader. Crawford went 1-for-3 with a two-run double and a walk in Game 1. As an encore, he finished 1-for-2 with a two-run single and a walk in the nightcap. Crawford now boasts an 11-game hitting streak. The 17th pick in the 2022 draft has acquitted himself well during his Triple-A debut this season with a stellar .328/.395/.437 line in 206 plate appearances. While Crawford has homered just once, the 21-year-old speedster has racked up 11 doubles, three triples, and 16 stolen bases. Fantasy managers should monitor Crawford as a potential major league call-up this season. That's especially true if Phillies center fielders Brandon Marsh and Johan Rojas continue to record underwhelming production.
