Jets Release Chris Hogan
4 years agoThe New York Jets released wide receiver Chris Hogan on Saturday. The wideout had 14 catches for 118 yards in five games before he landed on the Injured Reserve in October with a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 5. It's never a good sign when you're released by an 0-11 team, but Hogan's injury surely played a big part in this transaction. The 33-year-old had just eight receptions for 67 yards in seven games for the Panthers in 2019. He hasn't been fantasy relevant since his time in New England (2016-18). Gang Green will move forward in three-wide sets with Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder and rookie Denzel Mims, with Vyncint Smith, Jeff Smith and Braxton Berrios serving as receiver depth.
