Carolina Hurricanes right wing Jesper Fast potted his first goals for the team in Monday's 4-2 loss to Tampa, opening the scoring in the first period and tying things up at two with a power-play marker near the end of the second. He scored with both of his shots and added one hit and one block to his line in 15:31. Fast had three assists in his first 11 games as a Hurricane ahead of Monday's matchup. The Swedish winger was a solid depth forward during his time in New York and he's also fitted in well in Carolina. Fantasy managers won't get much out of him, but Fast could have some short-term value in deep leagues, as his minutes have gone up a bit lately and he gets power-play time on a team that's scoring 29 percent of their chances with the man advantage.--Taavi Pailk
