Jeff Wilson Jr. Considered Day-To-Day
2 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (hip) was close to playing in the Week 15 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, and the team considers him day-to-day. Wilson injured his hip in Week 14 and was inactive for the first time this year on Saturday. With the 27-year-old out, Raheem Mostert led Miami's backfield with 17 carries for 136 yards while also catching one of his two targets for a 20-yard gain. We'll have to monitor Wilson's practice status this week, but he appears to have a good chance of returning to action on Christmas against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. If Wilson is active, there's a good chance that he'll be sharing more of the backfield touches with Mostert, making him a shaky fantasy flex in what is the semifinals in most fantasy leagues.
