Jayon Brown Returns To Titans
4 years agoThe Tennessee Titans are re-signing linebacker Jayon Brown to a one-year deal worth $5.25 million on Wednesday, according to a source. Brown turned down other offers to return to a revamped Titans Defense and to reset his market after an elbow injury ruined his 2020 season. Tennessee was unsuccessful in their attempts to trade for J.J. Watt and Benardrick McKinney, so they are settling for a reunion with Brown. The 26-year-old played in just 10 games last season and recorded 76 combined tackles (five for loss), two QB hits, eight passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one sack. He had a career year in 2019, posting a career-high 105 tackles, eight passes defensed, one interception, a fumble recovery for a touchdown and one sack in 14 starts.
