James Robinson Limited, Carlos Hyde Misses Practice
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson (heel, knee) continued to be limited to open the practice week on Wednesday, while Carlos Hyde (concussion) didn't practice at all. Robinson continues to play through heel and knee injuries, and he should be fine to suit up this Sunday against the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old had just six carries for four yards as the Jags could get nothing going on offense in the shutout loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, but Robinson should have much more room to run this weekend against a Houston D that allows the most rushing yards per game (147.9) in 2021. Start Robinson as a low-end RB2. Hyde has zero standalone value behind Robinson and is in danger of sitting out this Sunday. If he doesn't clear the concussion protocols, Dare Ogunbowale would serve as Robinson's backup.
